Kusefuku Shoten "Nori Butter

Gohan desu! is a tsukudani (food boiled in soy sauce and sugar) made from dried laver. Even if there are no side dishes, this is my favorite tsukudani because it makes my white rice go down the drain.

I have found an evolved version of tsukudani. I discovered an evolved version of seaweed tsukudani. It's called " Nori Butter! I got it at Kuze Fuku Shoten.

Nice to meet you, Nori Butter

Kusefuku Shoten "Nori Butter

Kusefuku Shoten's "Nori Butter" is made by adding Japanese black laver tsukudani, Japanese butter, and Japanese soy sauce. The combination of butter is unusual.

with a food cooked by dipping into it (e.g. tea, coffee, etc.)

Tasted as is, it tastes just like the familiar seaweed tsukudani. It has a mildly savory taste of the sea and a moderate salty flavor. The mild taste of the tsukudani is almost like seaweed tsukudani, although there is a slight hint of butter.

So of course it goes well with white rice. It's perfect with hot rice, and you can eat it with plenty of rice! I think it is a little richer than the usual nori tsukudani.

Familiar goodness!

And since it's butter, I spread it on toast... and it's just as good! I think the butter makes the bread more moist and blends in better.

New deliciousness!

It would be delicious baked on bread with nori butter and cheese, or as a sandwich with eggs or scrambled eggs with nori butter, sandwiched between pieces of bread. The charm of nori butter is that it goes well not only with rice but also with bread. If you prefer rice for breakfast! If you are a rice eater, you will love it as a rich nori tsukudani, and if you are a bread eater, you will love it as a topping for your toast. How about topping your toast if you are a bread lover?
