Shiga Kobo Shushu "Ko-no-Kuni Raw Cheesecake

Kobo Shushu is located in the "Marugoto Nippon" commercial facility in Asakusa. It is a confectionery studio born in Shiga, the land of lakes. The Asakusa store is the second store following the main store in Higashiomi City, Shiga Prefecture.

Shiga is home to many sake breweries that produce unique local sake. We found a "Ko-no-Kuni Nama Cheesecake" that makes you feel like you are visiting a sake brewery.

The "Ko-no-Kuni Nama Cheesecake" is a raw cheesecake made with sake lees from six different sake breweries. The lineup includes six varieties: "Kiracho" by Kita Sake Brewery, "Matsu-no-Masa" by Matsuse Sake Brewery, "Mitomiku" by Mitomiku Sake Brewery, "Nanamoto-yari" by Tomita Sake Brewery, "Haginoduro" by Fukui Yahei Shoten, and "Naminone" by Naminone Sake Brewery.

Lovely in a sake cup.

Matsunose Shuzo "Matsu no Tsukasa

Soft and smooth in the mouth. It melts on the tongue and spreads its deep richness. The aroma is followed by a gorgeous fragrance. The mellow taste is the result of maturing cream cheese and sake lees together.

The mellow aroma and sweetness of sake-kasu are perfectly balanced. The creamy cheese has a mashed texture of sakekasu. It has a rich yet clean aftertaste.

Mitomiku Shuzo "Mitomiku

The first sip of this sake has a strong flavor of sakekasu (sake lees). The rich umami flavor caresses your tongue. The sweetness follows afterward, and the lingering aftertaste that lingers even after swallowing makes you happy...!

Recommended for alcohol lovers

Actually, we tasted a little of all the varieties before purchasing, and were surprised to find that each one had its own unique flavor. I was surprised to find that each one had its own character. You can enjoy "Kiki Sake Kasu" to the fullest.

Reuse the sake cups with cute bottoms.

Sakekasu matures day by day, so the closer it gets to the expiration date, the mellower the flavor becomes. It must be refrigerated and has a shelf life of 10 days in summer and 14 days in winter.
