In KALDI, I found "millet rice cake" which is not millet rice. The colorful "4 kinds of rice cakes" and 8 individual packages cost 473 yen (tax included).
This is a product in which two domestically produced "Yomogi mochi", "Awa mochi", "Black rice mochi" and "Brown rice mochi" are assorted. Each mochi has a different color and taste, so you can enjoy it even if you eat it every day.
● What is the difference between the four flavors?
When I tried and compared the four types, the taste was more different than I expected.Awa mochi is characterized by the aroma of foxtail millet and the simple sweetness that you can feel as you chew. You can wrap it with seaweed or put it in shiruko.
The wormwood mochi has a refreshing scent of wormwood that slips out of your nose. Needless to say, it goes well with red bean paste.
Brown rice mochi is the raw material itself, just the taste of brown rice! It's fragrant enough to chew, and it's best to eat it with soy sauce.
The black rice cake has a crushed texture and a slight saltiness. It looks a little tricky, but it tastes like eating red rice sprinkled with salt and pepper, and it's really delicious as it is without adding anything!
The number of rice cakes that appear on the winter table will increase, but if you get tired of the usual rice cakes, try adding accents with four types of rice cakes that look and taste different.
