I personally love the OK store where you can buy good things at a low price, and I often go there, but I also have a wide selection of OK chilled lunch boxes and side dishes.
Among them, I would like to introduce "Snack Croquette". It is a super-discount side dish of 188 yen for 5 pieces and 38 yen for each piece (price does not include tax). It's cheap, but it's really delicious, so I personally think it's okay to put it in the main dinner instead of calling it a snack ...!
Croquette with beef using Baron potatoes from Tokachi, Hokkaido. If you eat at home, it is recommended to reheat it lightly with a toaster. The dark brown garment is crispy and crunchy, and when chewed, the richness of the oil oozes out.
The inside of the batter is soggy and smooth. The sweetness of the sweet potatoes is further enhanced by the umami of the beef and the slight saltiness.
When I thought it was a nostalgic taste, it was somewhat similar to the croquette I bought and ate from a butcher's lady in a downtown shopping district someday. The relieved handmade taste is the best. I'm sure everyone will be happy if they serve it as a snack for children who are in the middle of eating or at the family dining table!
