The season when I miss cold sake. Here are five sakes you'll want to drink in the summer found at KALDI Coffee Farm.
◆ Ehime Iyokan Sour
Sour made from carefully squeezed flesh of Iyokan from Ehime prefecture. Alcohol content 5%. The price is 189 yen (tax included, same below).
Juicy as if you were biting a yokan that you want to grow up in plenty of sunlight! The refreshing sweetness spreads throughout your mouth. An adult taste with a faint bitterness peculiar to citrus on the tongue.
◆ Setouchi lemon and yogurt liquor
A liqueur containing plant-derived lactic acid bacteria (SN13T strain). Alcohol content 6%. The price is 398 yen.
Deep richness that gets entangled in the tongue. Fermented amazake is used as the raw material, and the yogurt flavor has a slight aroma of sake lees. At the end, the lemon finishes refreshingly. A summery taste with a mild acidity.
◆ Matcha latte liquor
Matcha latte flavored liqueur using evaporated milk and matcha. The cute cat in a kimono is impressive. Alcohol content 5%. The price is 345 yen.
The taste of matcha that fills your mouth and the milky richness. It tastes like matcha latte that you drink at a cafe, but it claims that the heat that remains on your tongue is sake. If you want to enjoy more mellowness, you may want to divide it with milk or soy milk.
◆ Ginjo Freshly Squeezed Sake Brewery Cat in Rakuchu
Junmai Ginjo, which has been stored at low temperature until summer, is bottled as raw sake. The label with the cat drawn in blue is a cool atmosphere. Alcohol content 17%. The price is 818 yen.
Clean and light mouthfeel. The mellow scent gently escapes into your nose. A sharp aftertaste with an elegant sweetness. It is a sake that you want to drink with a special knob.
◆ Setouchi Lemon Tea Liqueur
A concentrated type liqueur that is a blend of Setouchi Lemon Juice and Ceylon Tea. It comes in a stylishly designed jar with lemons on it. Alcohol content 8%. The price is 918 yen.
Alcohol slowly after a refreshing sweetness. The mellow scent of Ceylon tea goes through your nose. Divide it with water or carbonated water for a lighter taste. You can also enjoy arranging it by sprinkling it on vanilla ice cream or using it as a material for confectionery.
Did you find any alcohol you were interested in? Personally, I wanted to drink Iyokan sour when everyone was having a barbecue, a cat in a sake brewery when drinking alone, and matcha or lemon liqueur at a home party. All of them are delicious, so please enjoy them according to the scene and taste!
