7-ELEVEN's long-selling "Koppe-pan" has been renewed. The lineup will be newly expanded and will be sold at each store from February 27 (excluding some stores).
The standard "Strawberry Jam & Margarine" and "Tsubuan & Margarine" have been renewed, and four side dishes such as "Egg & Tuna Mayonnaise" and "Egg & Curry" have been added. Below, we will review each taste.
● Strawberry jam & margarine (108 yen, tax included, same below)
A standard product with a moderately sour strawberry jam and margarine sandwiched between them. A generous amount of strawberry jam is applied on top of the smooth margarine.
The smooth richness of margarine and the slight saltiness enhance the taste of sweet and sour strawberry jam. Nostalgic taste like the school lunch that I ate when I was a child. Somehow it won't stop.
● Tsubuan & Margarine (108 yen)
Koppe-pan sandwiched between flavorful bean paste with azuki bean paste and margarine.
This is already stable and delicious. A classic taste with smooth margarine and fluffy chestnuts hugged in a fluffy bread. The sweetness of azuki beans, the richness of margarine, and the slight saltiness go perfectly together.
● Egg & Tuna Mayonnaise (138 yen)
A side dish-based koppe-pan sandwiched between rich egg salad and tuna mayonnaise. One half contains egg salad and the other half contains tuna salad.
Eggs are rich and mellow. The tuna is smooth and has a spicy salty taste and pepper accents. Koppe-pan that is delicious twice with one.
● Eggs & curry (138 yen)
Koppe-pan that combines rich egg salad and spiced curry sauce. When you break it, it is a unique item with a brown (curry) and yellow (egg) striped pattern on the cross section.
The harmony of spicy curry and mellow eggs is irresistible. A highly satisfying side dish koppe that makes you feel like you are eating curry topped with a boiled egg.
With this renewal, we are particular about the selection of flour and the composition of water for the bread dough, giving it a soft and moist texture. By spreading the ingredients one by one by hand, it seems that the ingredients can be tasted no matter where you eat.
Which koppe-pan do you like? By all means for filling your stomach in the afternoon and for breakfast!
