"Sakura Cafe" is a 5 or 6 minute walk from the west exit of JR Ikebukuro Station. The 24-hour cafe and bar attached to the "Sakura Hotel" can be easily used by non-guests.



This shop is popular with overseas tourists because you can enjoy various menus such as rare foods and drinks from around the world, beer, and organically grown coffee. I heard that the morning special offered from 4:30 to 11:00 in the morning was high cost performance, so I actually ordered it.


The morning of 350 yen including tax is a cafe buffet style. Enjoy as much freshly baked toast, soup (daily), and drinks as you like.


The soup of the day was tomato. Bake as much bread as you want with a toaster and select your favorite drink. With jam and margarine, this is only 350 yen! And all you can eat! Speaking of greed, I would like to have salty eggs such as scrambled eggs and bacon, but that's enough because it's "free refills" at this price.



The bread just baked in the toaster is crispy. The soup also contains a lot of ingredients, so it doesn't feel cheap.




Inside the store, there are students studying, foreign tourists who may be guests of Sakura Hotel, office workers who have meetings, and so on. I've been there late at night when I was a student, but I don't think it's particularly noisy and it's always a calm shop.


When I went to replace the soup, I found a dish that I was interested in. A pudding made from Tohoku ranch eggs ...? It looks like a simple pudding that uses only Tohoku ranch eggs, acacia honey, and jersey milk. I was curious, so I bought a sapphire pudding that was "rich and creamy". The price is 450 yen including tax.


The pudding made from eggs with a slightly jade-colored shell has a moist and smooth texture and a unique richness. I think that there are trot softer faction and Puruntto firm faction in the pudding, this is just texture, such as the middle. When you put it in your mouth, it is elastic and gradually loosens on your tongue.


"Sakura Cafe" where you can enjoy world cuisine, beer and wine at dinner time. If you enjoy a good morning at Cospa in the morning, you may want to come back to work for a drink.
