Akagi Nyugyo will release "Gari-Gari-kun Rich Melon Bread Flavor" on September 12th. The estimated price is 130 yen (excluding tax).

Gari-gari-kun Rich's first ever "bread flavor", which was sold last year (2016) and became a hot topic, is back again this year. It is an ice lolly that reproduces the flavor of melon bread that is as fragrant as freshly baked.

Melon bread-flavored candy, which is made by blending roasted butter, is combined with melon bread skin (cookies) and crispy custard-flavored shaved ice.


By the way, if you get a hit, you will receive a limited edition "Mochimochi Gari Melon Bread Plush Toy" that was jointly developed with "Mocchi Mocchi", a stuffed animal that is soft and comfortable to touch.


To commemorate the release, a free sampling of Gari-Gari-kun's rich melon bread flavor will be held at JR Sakuragicho Station Square (Kanagawa Prefecture) from 11:00 on September 7. It will be distributed in 3 batches from 11:00, 12:00, and 13:00. Limited to 2,000, it will end as soon as it runs out.
