On July 6th, ITO EN released a PET bottled drink called "Wheat Soda". A "tea-based" carbonated drink that contains sodium and is finished with wheat.

Speaking of barley drinks, "barley tea" and "beer". Both are the waters of God that will be indispensable for the coming season. I also love it so much that I always drink either one during the summer.

Does that mean that barley soda also tastes like barley tea or beer? Or something completely different ...? I was curious, so I decided to buy it and drink it!


When you open the lid of the PET bottle, the sound of "push!" Immediately after that, a slightly fragrant scent fluffed ... I already felt wheat!

When you pour a golden liquid into a glass, fine bubbles will form. It looks like beer!


When you gently take a bite, the tingling and comfortable carbonic acid stimulates the tip of your tongue. The taste is a faint sweetness with no dullness. And what comes out of my nose is ... this is definitely ... wheat !!


It is said that minerals (sodium) can be replenished, so I wondered if it was salty, but that was not the case. The gentle sweetness and the aroma of wheat make you feel thirsty. Thanks to the carbonic acid that is not too strong, it feels refreshing and comfortable, and when you sweat as much as you want, you want to drink it.


It tasted completely different from barley tea and beer (although it looks like beer), but I personally like it so much that I want to keep it in the refrigerator. Isn't there anyone who doesn't like this taste? Deliciousness with a sense of security. It wasn't too sweet, so it didn't taste so sad even if the carbonic acid was removed. I think it's quite possible to break the liquor with this. Arranging various ways of drinking, it seems to be a heavy rotation drink this summer.
