A guidebook "Nippon Ice Encyclopedia Shaved Ice Journey" that introduces shaved ice stores nationwide was released by Pia on June 15th. The price is 1,296 yen (tax included).


"Shaved ice" caused a big sensation last summer. Specialty stores selling shaved ice opened one after another all year round, and there was a line of "luxury shaved ice" that cost more than 1,000 yen per cup, which attracted a lot of attention.

Izumi Harada, one of the "Kakigori" (Kakigori freaks) who loves shaved ice, is the author of this book. From Hokkaido to Okinawa, more than 70 shaved ice shops all over Japan are introduced. In addition, there is also a "back menu" that can only be eaten by those who purchased this book.
