Sweets and bread using "Euglena from Ishigaki" will be on sale from September 16th at each FamilyMart store.


Euglena (Japanese name Euglena) is a type of algae that is attracting attention because it is rich in nutrients. Euglena Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Euglena Co., Ltd.) succeeded in mass cultivation outdoors for the first time in the world in 2005, and is used as a raw material for foods and fuels.

According to Euglena, Euglena contains a total of 59 nutrients, including various amino acids, minerals, vitamins and unsaturated fatty acids. It has both plant and animal characteristics, and because it has no cell wall, it can efficiently ingest nutrients.

"Smoothie to eat with a spoon" (230 yen) is a dessert that is finished in a "eat" type instead of "drink" so that you can get more satisfaction. Grapefruit crush jelly with euglena is layered with strawberry pulp, strawberry sauce and yogurt-flavored whipped cream.


"Honey & Oat Danish" (108 yen) and "Walnut & Cranberry Bread" (125 yen) each contain about 300 milligrams of euglena. It is said that it was made by choosing the taste and ingredients that women like.

"Euglena & Yogurt Folic Acid Plus" (132 yen), "Euglena & Matcha Olepurin" (149 yen / Family Mart pre-sale), "Euglena-containing beverage brown sugar flavor" (128 yen), "Drinking Euglena" (259 yen), " Five products of "Euglena & Nomu Yogurt Peach Mix" (210 yen / released on October 14th) are also available.
