The American Festival 2014, a food event where you can eat American barbecue dishes, will be held for four days from August 28th to 31st at Symbol Promenade Park Yume no Hiroba (Koto-ku, Tokyo). The event is held from 11:00 to 21:00, and admission is free.


"American Festival 2014" is an event where you can enjoy "authentic" American barbecue dishes and craft beer. It is said that dishes that cannot be eaten in Japan, such as meat that has been smoked for a long time and corn that is seasoned only in the United States, will be offered.


At the same event, a "real BBQ experience corner" will also be held. Those who want to grill their own meat can try "real barbecue" using the American barbecue equipment "WEBER Grill" under the guidance of a "barbecue instructor".

Experiences include pond steak grilled pepper beef steak, chicken wings barbecue, vegetable barbecue (green pepper), marshmallow grilled, and a glass of alcohol or soft drink. The experience time is about 1 hour, and the participation fee is 2,000 yen per person. Held 3 times each day from 12:00 to 13:00 (1st time), 15:00 to 16:00 (2nd time), and 18:00 to 19:00 (3rd time). Advance reservations are accepted from the special site.

In addition, there will be a stage to introduce American jazz music and dance, and a booth selling antique miscellaneous goods.
