Starbucks "Cold Brew Cream Float Valencia" "Hazelnuts"
Iced coffee that is a little different from usual

Two new drinks featuring "cold brew coffee" (= cold brew coffee) are now available at Starbucks. "Cold Brew Cream Float Valencia" with Valencia flavor and "Hazelnut" with hazelnut flavor are on sale from today (May 24th) to the end of August. The price is 420 yen each (excluding tax).

The impression I drank right away was the sweetness, the feeling of milk, the bitterness of coffee ... everything was just right! Recommended for those who like sweet coffee and those who like black! Personally, I especially like hazelnuts because of their rich scent.

This is a lipi decision!

◆ Tall size only, the reason is ...

Pour cold brew coffee into a cup of Valencia or hazelnut syrup, add ice (slightly less) and squeeze a smooth cream foam to finish. Finally, topped with coffee sugar.

Sprinkle coffee sugar and you're done!

Coffee, cream, ice, and syrup are combined in a calculated formulation , so the size is said to be "tall size only". It seems that it is a balance that has been reached through many trials and errors.

◆ Coffee is extracted with "water"

Cold brew coffee is coffee that is slowly extracted by adding water instead of heating the ground coffee beans.

Starbucks cold brew is said to take 14 hours (!) To bring out the umami, and is characterized by a mellow and refreshing taste. There is no unpleasant taste and the acidity is low, so even though it is coffee, you can drink it!

It seems to moisturize your thirsty throat in the hot summer

By the way, it seems that the coffee beans were specially developed for cold brew, which was blended and roasted so that the taste was maximized by water extraction (a blend of African and Latin American coffee beans).

◆ "Cream" instead of milk

The cream foam that squeezes coffee is newly developed this time. Finished by adding milk to regular whipped cream. The milk fat content is lower than usual, the mouthfeel is soft and soft, and the texture is smooth with a trolley.

Fluffy!

It has a creamy richness, but the taste is refreshing because it is not sweet. I wonder if I can drink it more refreshingly than iced coffee made by pouring milk!

Of course it is delicious even when mixed with coffee

◆ The "fragrance" is sweet and delicious!

Valencia syrup has a slightly sweet and refreshing citrus scent. Hazelnuts, on the other hand, have a strong nutty aroma that fills your mouth. Neither taste is too sweet, it is smooth and easy to drink!

The gradation from black to white is cool

The refreshing cold brew coffee combined with sweet syrup and rich cream has a perfect balance of "clean" and "creamy" in early summer! The layers are syrup, coffee and cream, so you can enjoy the change in taste by drinking from the bottom without mixing. You can mix the whole thing from the beginning and enjoy the well-balanced sweetness and flavored syrup scent.

By the way, the topping coffee sugar is the same as the one in the condition bar, so if you want to add sweetness and texture, you can add it yourself!
