From Calbee's "Potato Chips", "Potato Chips Eel Kabayaki Flavor" will be released in advance at convenience stores nationwide on July 18. The general release is July 25th.
This is potato chips that reproduce the taste of "Tokai-style eel kabayaki". Eel extract powder and powdered tamari soy sauce are used, and you can enjoy the aroma of roasted eel and the sweet and spicy taste. The spicy Japanese pepper powder seems to tighten the overall taste.
The estimated price is 150 yen for convenience stores limited to 83g (2.93oz) and 120 yen for stores other than convenience stores with 58g (2.05oz) (both including tax).
