This will be sold to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the broadcast of the TV anime "Chibi Maruko-chan" and the release of the new movie for the first time in 23 years (December 23). The donut is inspired by the face of the "Sakura family" character that appears in the film. It seems that each one is handmade.
The lineup consists of 6 types, "Maruko", "Grandpa", "Mother", "Dad", "Grandma", and "Sister", and the price is 450 yen (tax included). The sales period of each donut is different.
The sales period for each donut is as follows.
December 1-10 Maruko and Grandpa
December 11-20 Maruko and mom
December 21-30 Maruko and Dad
January 2-11, 2016 Maruko and Grandma
January 12-21, 2016 Maruko and Sister
