The GOMI Pickup Tournament is held weekly from June to August in each region. Since June is "Environmental Month" set by the Environment Agency, it is said that the event is held for the purpose of "Why don't you do something a little better for the environment?"
However, this is not just a garbage picking event. Twisted (= twist) in addition to picking up trash, Let enjoy as a sport! It seems that there is a concept.
Those who wish to participate can enter by forming a team with family and friends. On the day of the event, the team will work together to compete for the number of points earned by picking up trash in a fair and open manner in accordance with sportsmanship. It doesn't mean that you should collect a lot, but the number of points depends on the “content” of the garbage.
In addition, the "Twist Challenge" will be held to compete for how quickly I Lohas bottles can be squeezed. It seems that "nice prizes" are prepared for excellent teams.
If you are interested, or if you are confident in the “squeeze” of I LOHAS, why not invite your colleagues and friends from work to enter. Maybe you will have a wonderful encounter through the event ...!?
