The Japan's No. 1 deciding match for store original products, "127 stores nationwide, 2nd Bread Grand Prix" held at Bakery Donk. From November 1st, the "Final Fair" is being held to sell the three products that have won the regional qualifiers at stores nationwide.

Products from 127 stores nationwide were entered in the qualifying round. Based on the number of sales at each store, Iyotetsu Takashimaya store (Ehime) "Apple Honey Ring", Toyoda Matsuzakaya store (Aichi) "Sakukuri Macaron and chestnut sweets", Kamiroku Kintetsu store (Osaka) "Crispy" Three products of "Honey Apple" were selected as the top.

Apple Honey Ring (210 yen) is a softly baked dough with apples, and you can enjoy the acidity of cream cheese topped with apples and the gentle sweetness of honey.


The macaroon and chestnut sweets (315 yen) are crescent-shaped brioches. It is a sweet-like bread that you can enjoy the crisp texture of macaroons topped on the surface and the moist texture of the dough with chestnuts.

Crispy honey apple (210 yen) is a French bread with a crunchy texture and a scent of butter. The exquisite harmony of astragalus honey and apple pulp mixed in the dough is irresistible.

These breads will be on sale until November 10th. The Grand Prix will be decided in late November based on store sales, store and Facebook popularity polls. All of them are full of the commitment of the baker. It may be a good idea to try and compare three different types.
