Imuraya's popular ice cream "Azuki Bar" will celebrate its 40th anniversary this year. An event to commemorate this will be held on June 26th at Tokyo Sankei Building Metro Square Flat, and 4,000 azuki bars will be distributed free of charge (from 12:15).


On the day of the event, a talk session will be held between Tomoko Tabata, the actress of the company's image character, and Takeo Asada, who will be appointed chairman of the company on June 21st.

The event will be held in light rain, but will be canceled in case of stormy weather. Distribution will end as soon as the Azuki bar is gone.

The Imuraya Twitter account (@IMURAYA_DM ) revealed that the Azuki bar is not suitable for three-dimensional mobile devices and cannot replace ultra-hard blades. The account also commented on the event, saying that it wouldn't play the role of the "supply station" in the film, and that super-hard blades wouldn't be available.
