Yakult will start selling "Yakult" on April 8 in the island country of Malta, which is located on the south side of Italy.

The capital is Valletta. In addition to being famous as a resort, it is also popular as a tourist destination with three world heritage sites: the city of Valletta, the megalithic temples of Malta, and the Hal Saflieni underground tomb, and is visited by many people every year.
The product to be sold this time is Yakult, which is a 65 ml x 7 pack. The suggested retail price is 5.95 euros (about 714 yen). Yakult Sales Co., Ltd., a local corporation wholly owned by Yakult, sells at local retail stores through a food wholesale company in the Republic of Malta.

The company has already sold Yakult in 30 countries and regions excluding Japan, and with the start of sales in the Republic of Malta, the sales network will be expanded to 31 countries and regions.
