You don't have to grow it anymore ...? A 3D printer that can make fruits is developed

These days, 3D printers, including resins and plaster, have a print range that extends to food. 3D printers that can output candy , chocolate, etc. have been developed so far, but this time it seems that they have realized "fruit" printing.

British design studio Dovetailed announces a 3D printer that can print fruit in seconds. It was unveiled at the Cambridge hackathon event "Tech Food Hack" hosted by the company and Microsoft Research Cambridge.

This printer was developed by utilizing a technology called "spherification" based on the science of "molecular gastronomy" that analyzes cooking scientifically. Fruits are produced by combining liquids of different flavors in a favorite "shape". It is said that fresh and organic fruits can be printed rapidly without any specialized knowledge of cooking or the same academic field.

"The taste, texture, size and shape are all customizable. 3D fruit printer printing technology can not only improve existing fruits, but also invent entirely new fruits," said Gabriel Villar, head of development. Explains.

Will it be useful when you say "I like this taste but it's hard to eat" or "I want to use it for cooking a little" ...? I would like to expect future developments.
