A comparison of four items in Lotteria's Hanjuku Tsukimi series! The "Hanjuku Tsukimi Japanese Teriyaki Burger" and "Hanjuku Tsukimi Deliciously Spicy Zesshin Cheeseburger" are the best!

The "

Lotteria

no Hanjuku Tsukimi" series, which was released on September 7, 2012 at Lotteria restaurants. The four items are "Hanjuku Tsukimi: Japanese Style Zesshin Cheeseburger," "Hanjuku Tsukimi: Japanese Style Shrimp Burger," "Hanjuku Tsukimi: Japanese Style Teriyaki Burger," and "Hanjuku Tsukimi: Deliciously Spicy Zesshin Cheeseburger" and are available until mid-October.

We immediately compared the four items! Which one is the best tsukimi?

Half-boiled tsukimi Japanese-style exquisite cheeseburger

A grilled hamburger patty topped with cheese, our original half-boiled egg and Japanese ginger soy sauce are combined and sandwiched between a soft and chewy bun.

The golden ratio of the moist and chewy bun, plump and juicy hamburger patty, thick and rich egg, creamy cheese, and crispy ginger sauce is a perfect balance! The patty is also spiced with pepper, giving it the meaty texture of a hamburger. This is Lotteria's classic tsukimi burger, with the best of both worlds: the excellent burger and the tsukimi (egg)!

Half-boiled Tsukimi Japanese-style Shrimp Burger

A shrimp patty, half-boiled egg, Japanese ginger soy sauce, special tartar sauce, and cabbage are combined and sandwiched in a soft, springy bun to create this tsukimi burger.

The shrimp patty is the star of the burger, and the crispy batter gives off a delicious flavor every time you bite into it. The crispy ginger flavor of the Japanese ginger soy sauce combined with the melt-in-your-mouth yolk of the egg gives the burger a Japanese taste that will spread on your palate. Overall, the shrimp and ginger were very strong in this dish. The tartar sauce is rich and thick, but the ginger keeps it light and refreshing.

Hanjuku Tsukimi Japanese-style Teriyaki Burger

A hamburger patty, half-boiled egg, and Japanese ginger soy sauce are combined with lettuce, mayo sauce, and mustard, and sandwiched in a soft, springy bun.

The sweet and spicy teriyaki and the refreshing Japanese ginger soy sauce are too good together! Add to this the mellow richness of the melted egg, and you have the most luxurious teriyaki burger...! I was very impressed by the high level of matching the unique Japanese flavor of teriyaki with the Japanese ginger soy sauce.

Half-boiled Tsukimi Spicy Cheeseburger

The perfect cheese hamburger patty, half-boiled egg, and deliciously spicy "Sriracha Sauce" are combined and sandwiched in a moist and chewy bun.

It is much spicier than expected! The sriracha sauce gives the burger an authentic spiciness that makes your tongue tingle! The thickened egg helps to milden the taste, but the spiciness lingers in the aftertaste. Personally, I like spicy food, so I liked it a lot! The sriracha sauce adds a little ethnic flavor to the dish, which is also a good point. However, people who do not like spicy food should avoid it!

Conclusion

: When you think of tsukimi, you think of semi-boiled eggs, right? If you think so, you should try Lotteria's Tsukimi series. You won't regret eating any of them, but my personal favorite was the "Hanjuku Tsukimi Japanese Style Teriyaki Burger"! I think Japanese people would definitely like this flavor.

Also, for those who like spicy food, I recommend the "Hanjuku Tsukimi Yakko-Zeppo Cheeseburger". It is even better with a refreshing carbonated beverage or beer during this still hot season!
