I tried the "Raw Muffin with Fiber" (297 yen including tax), a chilled sweet that went on sale at LAWSON on August 8, 2012! I have a weakness for the word "raw"... doesn't it just sound delicious? I wonder what a raw muffin tastes like.


Each serving contains 14.7 grams of dietary fiber while being enjoyed as a sweet treat. 286 calories per serving.

I tried the "Raw Muffin with Fiber."

It is a muffin topped with a generous dollop of whipped cream and drizzled with honey. Topped with crushed walnuts.


Yum! The muffin itself is very moist and melts on your tongue! It's like steamed bread (or more than steamed bread?). It's like steamed bread (even more than steamed bread?). The combination of the fluffy whipped cream and honey makes for a rich, mellow sweetness that fills the mouth with happiness. The crunchy walnuts are a perfect match for the slightly caramelized muffin, and also add a nice accent to the texture.

Aren't we too lucky to be able to enjoy such a delicious sweet treat and actively consume dietary fiber?


To be honest, I recommend it not so much for the fiber, but just because it tastes so good as a sweet! On days when you are not interested in eating salad, please notice the "Raw Muffin with Fiber" gently staring at you from the chilled sweets shelf. And please pick it up gently.
