"Taiwan pineapple cake" recipe with hot cake mix! Scented butter & moist pine jam is super horse

A recipe for a juicy "Taiwan pineapple cake"!

Reproduce the classic Taiwanese souvenir "pineapple cake" using hot cake mix and pineapple cans! The sweetness of fragrant butter and pineapple is a habit.

Material ( For 2-3 people )
Pancake mix 200g (7.05oz)
Pineapple can 1 can (about 300-350g)
egg 1 piece
sugar 3 tbsp
butter 60g (2.12oz)

A classic Taiwanese souvenir sweet, "pineapple cake". The crispy cookie dough is packed with moist pine jam, making it addictive. I tried to reproduce such a Taiwanese pineapple cake using a hot cake mix and a pineapple can!

Taiwan pineapple cake recipe

Hot cake mix 200g (7.05oz)
1 can of pineapple (about 300-350g (12.35oz))
1 egg 3 tablespoons sugar
Butter 60g (2.12oz)

Pineapple cans are used for both fruits and syrup. Please do not throw away the canned juice!


● How to make

Bring the butter and eggs to room temperature.


Finely chop the pineapple.


Add the pineapple fruit cut into a pan, 4 tablespoons of syrup in a can of pineapple, and sugar, and simmer over medium heat while mixing. When the water has blown off and boiled, turn off the heat and let it cool.

Put butter in a bowl and stir well with a whisk. When smooth, add the beaten egg little by little and mix.



Add the pancake mix and mix with a rubber spatula to cut it gently.



When the dough is no longer powdery, put the dough together by hand, wrap it in plastic wrap, and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.


Take out the dough, stretch it and cut it into 6 to 12 equal parts. You can divide it into equal parts as you like.


Put the boiled pine jam on the dough, wrap it, and shape it into a square.



Place on parchment paper and bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15 minutes. Take it out, turn the dough over and bake for another 5-10 minutes.


It is browned and is complete when it is cooked to the inside!


● What is the taste?

When you bite it, it is crispy and the scent of butter is fluffy. The pine jam that overflows from the inside is moist and soft and delicious! The flavor of butter and the fruity fruit of pineapple mix in the mouth to create a happy taste. It's a satisfying snack with a generous amount of food! It's delicious when baked, but if you eat it after cooling it, it will feel more crispy.
