Starbucks-style chocolate chunk scone

Material (for 4 pieces)

Strong flour and weak flour 100g (3.53oz) each
2 teaspoons of baking powder
2 tablespoons sugar
50g (1.76oz) each of butter, milk, yogurt and chocolate bar

How to make

Combine strong flour, soft flour, baking powder, and sugar in a bowl and stir with a whisk to make them even. Cut the butter into 1 cm squares.


While chopping and crushing the butter with a spatula, let it blend in with the flour. Even if you don't get used to it completely, it's OK if the whole thing is fluffy.


Add crushed chocolate bar and mix. Chocolate chips are also acceptable.


Add milk and yogurt and let it blend in. The point is not to mix it round and round, but to mix it like cutting!


When the dough is no longer powdery, wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill in the freezer for 10-20 minutes.


Place the dough on a floured table, flatten it and fold it in different directions, repeating 3-4 times.


Finally, make a circle with a thickness of 2 to 3 cm and divide it into 4 equal parts with a kitchen knife.


Place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake it in an oven at 200 ° C (392 ° F) for 16 minutes to complete.
