Mitsubishi Shokuhin has pre-sold "Suppaiman Ume Sour" in collaboration with "Suppaiman" from Uema Candy Store in Okinawa Prefecture. Nationwide sales start from August 25th. Alcohol content is 7%. The price is open.
"Suppaiman" was released in 1981 by Uema Candy Store in Okinawa Prefecture. It is a famous long-selling product that has been loved for about 40 years since then. A traditional Okinawan confectionery that is made by drying dried plums and seasoning them with a liquid with a unique sweet and sour taste.
"Suppaiman Ume Sour" is a delicious collaboration chu-hi that can be enjoyed by a wide range of chu-hi fans. It reproduces the sweet and sour exquisite taste of Suppaiman plum sour. While firmly reproducing the taste of Okinawa's famous confectionery "Suppaiman", it pursues a delicious taste as chu-hi. No sweeteners used.
In addition, a part of the sales of "Suppaiman Ume Sour" will be donated to support the fire recovery and reconstruction of Shurijo Castle in Okinawa Prefecture.
