Nagasaki's famous confectionery "Cruz
Nagasaki's famous confectionery "Cruz" was born in 1964 when the Tokyo Olympics were held. It has been loved by the people of Nagasaki for more than half a century and is a long-selling product of Obama Shokuhin.
The name "Cruz" means "cross" in Portuguese. The package also depicts a cross and a nun, a design typical of Nagasaki with its exotic atmosphere.
Background is Japanese pattern
Ginger-scented white chocolate is sandwiched between thinly baked flour dough. Matsumoto Farm Shimabara Hyakunen Ginger, with its mildly pungent flavor, is used. 3 pieces are available for 260 yen (tax included).
Simple individual packaging
The dough is crunchy and savory, while the chocolate in between is crispy and light. The mild sweetness melts on the tongue, and the ginger is tangy. The slightly spicy aftertaste is addictive.

Cruz [Coffee
Coffee chocolate sandwiched between original dough baked with "Ryoma's favorite coffee". The "Coffee that Ryoma Loved" is an original product arranged by OK Office Coffee by reproducing the roasting method used at the end of the Edo period.
The mellow aroma spreads with sweetness. The crisp flavor adds depth to the taste. Enjoy with coffee while thinking about the end of the Tokugawa Shogunate.
Shiawase Cruz
White chocolate mixed with powdered strawberries is sandwiched between a strawberry puree batter. Freeze-dried Sachinoka strawberries from Nagasaki Prefecture are used without coloring or preservatives.
The slightly pink white chocolate and dough are both rich in strawberry flavor. The refreshing sweetness bursts forth. As the name suggests, it has a gorgeous flavor that will put you in a happy mood.
Cruz [Matcha green tea
Cruz made with special matcha green tea grown in Higashisonogi-cho, Nagasaki. The individual packaging with a stained glass-like design is wonderful.
The deep flavor spreads gradually. The aroma of matcha leaves the air along with the aroma of wheat. The aftertaste is sweet, yet crisp and refreshing.
