This is a holiday-only cake inspired by the German baked confectionery "Stollen", which is eaten while counting Christmas. Six kinds of fruits (cranberries, figs, golden raisins, papayas, oranges, apples) and three kinds of nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds) are mixed in the dough and baked. The top surface is sprinkled with powdered sugar as if it were snow on the mountain.

A lot of ingredients that you can already see from the cross section. There are a lot of fruits and nuts in it. The bright red cranberry & green pistachio Christmas color is exciting just by looking at it!

Plenty of fruits and nuts!

When you stretch it, the soft and smooth mouthfeel is very elegant! Although it is a pound cake, it does not have a texture or a feeling of being deprived of water in the mouth.

As you chew softly, the sweetness of the fruit pops out and the aroma of the nuts spreads. The bubble wrap of fig seeds and the crispy texture of walnuts are also accents. The ephemeral melting of powdered sugar that disappears quickly is really like fresh snow, and it makes me feel sacred.
