ate! "Sakura and Mochi Gold Leaf Roll Cake" -Nana's Green Tea

The cherry blossoms, gold leaf, and strong personality are neatly summarized.

I have eaten the seasonal menu "Sakura and Mochi Gold Leaf Roll Cake" of "nana's green tea". The cherry blossoms and leaves are used to create a gorgeous spring-like appearance and taste.

The price is 750 yen (tax included). It's a little expensive, but all the sweets of Nana's Green Tea have plenty of volume. It is recommended to take a meal when you try.

As the name suggests, the chunky cake is a cherry-colored cake dough that is sprinkled with cherry-colored cream and rice cakes. With salted flowers on the top and salted leaves underneath, it feels like cherry blossom viewing.

The mochi that is makiko is soft and reminiscent of the Japanese sweet "Gyuhi".

When you take it out, the cake dough smells like a fluffy egg. The cream is thick. However, the Sakura flavor is refreshing as if it slips through your nose. The mochi is quite soft. It stretches well when pulled, but the elasticity when the fork is inserted is not so great, it cuts easily, and the mouthfeel is gentle. The impression is similar to the Japanese sweet "Gyuhi".

Enjoying the fragrance of flowers and leaves and the firm sweetness, the tongue feels crushed and the flavor of red bean paste is also present. Maybe it's white beans, it contains small beans.

Plenty of volume

The gold leaf studded here and there is supple, and it makes it a waste to put it in your mouth. However, it is a waste to keep it as it is. Take the courage to have it with the roll cake.

Gold leaf in the shape of a flower. I didn't taste it

By the way, the toppings of cherry blossoms and leaves are salted in a large amount, and they are very salty, so I was a little surprised when I chewed them. It really looks like a tsukemono. For the leaves, it seems better to cut them up and bite them with cream or dough as an accent.

Salted cherry blossoms. Firmly salty

Salted sakura leaves. It is associated with the Japanese sweet "Domyoji". After all it is salty

This cake is for a limited time until April 10th. If you can't wait for the Yoshino cherry tree to be in full bloom, you may want to try wrapping it in cherry blossoms at a cafe.
