Warabimochi, a summer tradition
The summer-only warabi mochi "Suika Warabi mochi" will be on sale from July 24th at Maruhachi Confectionery's online shop. A commercialized product of a customer request.
This is a transparent red warabi mochi with the image of the summer fruit "watermelon". Watermelon seeds are expressed by kneading black sesame seeds. When you take a bite, you can enjoy the chewy texture, the accent of bubble wrap black sesame, and the refreshingly sweet watermelon taste.
Does it look like a watermelon fruit on a skewer?
It is skewered so that it is easy to eat one by one, so you can eat it with one hand like an ice lolly. The price is 1,250 yen for a 5-piece set and 2,500 yen for a 10-piece set, both excluding tax. It will be delivered by frozen delivery, so thaw it in the refrigerator for about 2 hours before serving.
