After hearing rumors that sweets that look like "chicken" are on sale, I immediately headed to Lawson Store 100. I bought "watermelon warabi mochi" and "warabi mochi (red bean paste)". The price is 108 yen each (tax included).

First of all, from the "watermelon warabi mochi". Indeed, it looks like chicken . If this was transferred to a plate and put in the refrigerator, it would be a high quality (?) That would make you happy, saying, "Yeah! Tonight's side dish is fried chicken!"


The sweet scent of watermelon that scents softly as soon as the seal is opened. I wondered if watermelon juice was used abundantly, but when I checked the ingredient display, there was no word "watermelon" ...


When I try to eat a piece, it is plump and fresh and has a pleasant chewy texture. Speaking of taste, it is true that it is said to be watermelon flavor, but I feel that it is different from watermelon. If you dare to say it, it has a fruity taste . The black whelk, which probably represents the watermelon seeds, was like black sesame seeds.


The "warabimochi" displayed next to it is a warabimochi with red bean paste instead of black honey. You can imagine the taste more than "watermelon warabi mochi".


Compared to warabi mochi with black honey, the sweetness is easier to adjust, and the texture of the bean paste and mochi is also good. Personally, I felt that it was a favorite combination rather than eating with black honey.
