Yudetaro's "morning soba" is cheap and delicious

YUDETARO "Morning Soba

The standing noodle chain Yudetaro is a strong ally of the common people who can easily enjoy "freshly pulled, freshly beaten, and freshly boiled" authentic homemade soba. The En-Etsu editors are also regular patrons.

Did you know that YUDETARO offers a breakfast menu called "morning soba" until 11:00 a.m.? It is also very cost-effective, so it is useful as an early lunch!

Oni Oroshi" and "Tamago (raw or hot spring egg)

The morning soba lineup consists of two types: "Oni Oroshi" with coarse grated daikon (Japanese radish) and "Tamago" with raw or hot-spring eggs. Priced at 330 yen each (tax included).

Taro Boiled Breakfast

You can choose either cold or hot soba. This time, I chose the cold soba.

Soon it was ready: soba on a colander, sauce, green onions, and a soft, fluffy onsen tamago (egg). Thick kakiage (deep fried tofu) is also served on a separate plate. This can be changed to Sanriku wakame (seaweed).

Morning Soba with Onsen Tamago

The kakiage is thick!

The soba noodles are moderately firm, and the thick onsen tamago (egg) is mixed with the soba. The soba is smooth and smooth, and the richness of the egg yolk spreads in your mouth. You can't stop slurping! The crispy and savory kakiage (deep-fried tofu) is also delicious, with the sweetness of the onion and the richness of the oil seeping out as you chew...!

Thick hot-spring eggs.

Tossed with soba noodles

And the fried oysters are crispy!

Curry rice bowl, grated grilled mackerel rice, and soba (buckwheat) noodle set are also available.

For a refreshing meal, we recommend the combination of grated oni (devil's tongue) and Sanriku wakame seaweed, and for a hearty meal in the morning, we recommend the combination of egg and kakiage (deep-fried egg). The morning menu also includes "Curry Donburi" and "Oroshi Yaki Saba Meshi", a combination of soba and rice, for those who are looking for a hearty meal. Priced at 360 yen each (tax included), these dishes are very cost-effective!
