5 Souvenirs that you will get "nice!" [Japanese sweets] Moe-cut buns and fantastic eating "Tsumiki"

Following on from the souvenirs [ Funny Edition ] and [ Animal Edition ] that I introduced earlier, this time we will pick up [Japanese sweets]! How about a gift for that person who is a little adult?

■ I want to eat in winter
"Shimobashira " is a candy confectionery with a winter motif. This is a winter (October-April) limited edition product of Sendai's long-established store "Kuju Honpo Tamazawa". The price is 2,052 yen (tax included) per can.

When chewed quickly, it disappears in a blink of an eye, leaving an elegant sweetness. What a delicate mouthfeel! Just put it on your tongue without chewing and it will disappear so that the ice will melt.

A candy cake filled with a small winter in a blue can. It can be purchased from the Kuju Honpo Tamasawa stores as well as from the official website.

■ Moe Manju
Sandwiches aren't the only "moe cut"! It is sold under the long-established Japanese confectionery which is in Nihonbashi-Ningyocho "Tamaeido (if Gyo Quay)," " Gyokuman (Round bun) ". The price is 680 yen (tax included) per piece.

At first glance, it's a normal steamed bun. However, when I messed up ... there were 5 beautiful layers! Chestnuts are layered in the middle, the bean paste that surrounds them, the pink bean paste, and the white bean paste, and the last is wrapped in manju skin.

The skin comes in two colors, red and white. Good for celebrations and New Year's gifts!

■ Monaka made by myself
"Ampone " from "Kyoto Gion Anon" (Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto City). Prices start from 1,500 yen (excluding tax) for 5 pieces.

A set of bean paste in a box, homemade mascarpone cheese cream, and monaka skin. The bean paste is 100% azuki from Tokachi, Hokkaido. Glutinous rice from Shiga prefecture is used for the rice cake.

"Ampone" is a sandwich of bean paste and cheese cream on the skin of the monaka. The mariage where cheese cream and red bean paste melt together at the same time is the best ♪

A dish that is fun to "make by yourself". It is also available in online shops.

■ Fantastic eating "Tsumiki"
"Kohaku no Tsumiki " from Koshinoyuki Honpo Yamatoya. The price is 1,188 yen (tax included).

A Japanese confectionery made from sugar and agar, "Amber", which is shaped like a building block. It is housed in a box designed like a picture book, and is packed with various shapes such as triangles, squares, and circles. All are crispy and delicate sugar-coated with smooth agar.

Sold only in Niigata prefecture, excluding special events. Get it when you go to Niigata!

■ Koronto Ankotama
"Sweets shop-Funewa Anko ball ". The price is 87 yen (tax included) per piece.

There are 6 types of bean paste, "red beans", "white beans", "matcha", "strawberry", "mandarin oranges", and "coffee" (some stores may not handle them). The agar on the surface has a smooth mouthfeel and pops when chewed. The bean paste inside has an elegant sweetness that is suppressed by a smooth mouthfeel.

Beauty like a jewel! It's nice to be able to buy one by one.
