I found a slightly unique candy at the Osaka Department Store in the Yurakucho Kotsu Kaikan. I actually bought it.
Tojiki Candy
The "OHAGIRIKI Candy" is a candy modeled after a "OHAGIRIKI". The size and appearance are just like a real "ojiki"! You can't help but want to play with them by popping them with your fingers. Each bag is priced at 108 yen (tax included).
Flavors are: blue for cider, red for apple, pink for strawberry, purple for grape, yellow for lemon, and green for melon.
Tastes like regular tasty candy.
Sushi Fold Candy
The "Sushi Fold Candy" sold together with the candy is also very cute! Designed to look like sushi in a sushi tub, it contains six kinds of ingredients: tuna, salmon, makizushi, toro (fatty tuna), kitayosai (shellfish), and egg. The price is 200 yen.
Flavors are: apple for the tuna, cherry for the salmon, vanilla for the sushi roll, peach for the toro, grapefruit for the kitayosai, and lemon for the egg.
What a surprise, this "Sushi Fold Candy" has won the 2012 U.S. Award and the 2014 and 2016 China Awards in the "Attractive Japanese Souvenir Contest" sponsored by the Japan Tourism Agency! Each piece is handmade by artisans with love.
Hold with chopsticks for a more sushi-like feel.
