In this series of "Coffee Jelly" tastings of interest, item 26 is Homer's Crushed Coffee Jelly. The author purchased it at KALDI Coffee Farm. The contents are 1,000 ml and the purchase price is 498 yen (tax included).

Homer Crushed

Coffee Jelly: Aromatic coffee jelly with a low sweetness. It is said to be enjoyable not only with a latte, but also on shaved ice or ice cream. The coffee jelly comes in a milk-like packet and is roughly crushed. When pouring, the trick is to press down on the pack a little harder to release the jelly.


The jelly has an exquisite firmness that allows you to enjoy the texture of both "plump" and "thick"! The jelly is not overly crushed, so it has a pleasantly soft texture. The slight sweetness is followed by the bitterness of coffee. The aftertaste is a mild bitterness that lingers in the mouth. I'm glad it's not too sweet.



You can also pour milk if you like! You can easily make a drink like the ones you enjoy at cafes at home. It is also recommended as a topping for ice cream or shaved ice. How about a snack?
