The "Tamba Noen 'Tamba Chestnuts' and Japanese Tea Parfait" will be available at the Salon de Café Lazona Kawasaki, Yokohama Sogo, and Nagoya stores. The price is 3,850 yen (tax included).

According to Shiseido Parlour, the parfait is characterized by the use of Tamba chestnuts, a brand of large, flavorful, and aromatic chestnuts with a long history that was written about in documents dating back to the Heian period (794-1185). Among the Tamba chestnuts produced in the former Tamba Province, which stretches from Hyogo Prefecture to Kyoto Prefecture, 3-liter size Gin-yose and Tsukuba chestnuts were used, and the combination of hojicha and genmaicha (brown rice tea) was used to create a parfait with a Japanese taste.

Tanba chestnuts from Tanba Farm in Kyotanba-cho, Kyoto Prefecture" were used as decorations, and hojicha jelly, Japanese chestnut cream, vanilla ice cream, streusel, white chocolate, and genmaicha ice cream trapped inside the glass deepened the taste of the Tanba chestnuts. It is said to be enjoyed with a variety of ingredients.

This parfait is a combination of Kyoto Prefecture's Tanba chestnuts, a high-grade chestnut characterized by its rich sweetness, and Aomori Prefecture's blackcurrants, and is served on a plate. The Tanba chestnut Mont Blanc cream is filled with Tanba chestnut ice cream, Shiseido Parlor's traditional vanilla ice cream, blackcurrant sorbet, and milk ice cream, with a rum jelly sprinkled at the end as an accent.
