Mitsuya Nihongokudramo Oita Pear from Hita, Oita Prefecture

Mitsuya Nihon Kudamo Oita Pear is the third product in the Mitsuya Nihon Kudamo series, which began in 2021 as a carbonated fruit juice drink that allows consumers to enjoy the taste of domestic fruit in 2022. The Hita pears grown in Oita Prefecture have been cultivated since the Meiji era in Hita City, Oita Prefecture, which once recorded the hottest temperature in Japan, and the difference in temperature between daytime and nighttime brings out the sweetness of the fruit to the maximum extent. The pears of Hita are characterized by their moderate acidity and refreshing sweetness, making them perfect for refreshing yourself in the hot summer.

The package features a large fruit on the front and the words "Nihon Kudamono" and "Hyakunen no Chosen: Sweet and Rich Pears from Hita" to emphasize the product's focus on domestically grown fruit. In 2022, the Mitsuya Nihon Kudamono series will launch products made from the juice of "Jonagold from Aomori Prefecture" in February and "Higo Green from Kumamoto Prefecture" in April.
