"Takara can chuhai 'Sumika' series is a 5% alcoholic chuhai that is not sweet with a violet fruit feel. The flavor is refreshing and fruity, thanks to the use of "domestic fruit essence," a unique technology that extracts aroma and flavor components from fruit peels, which are often discarded after the juice is squeezed. In addition, the base alcohol is a unique "barrel-stored aged shochu*" that complements the "domestic fruit essence" to provide a moderate liquor feel with a fruit flavor.

Takara can Chuhai "Sumika" (#Domestic Apple)

Takara can Chuhai "Sumika" [#Domestic Apple] is a popular chuhai flavor of apple with a gorgeous aroma and a refreshing, non-sweet taste that will keep you coming back for more.

At the Kurokabe Brewery, a shochu factory located in Takanabe-cho, Miyazaki Prefecture, there are about 20,000 barrels of about 85 different types of aged shochu in barrels, each with its own unique characteristics due to differences in raw materials, fermentation, distillation, and storage methods. These are then reduced to 35 degrees or lower and made into a shochu standard. The blend is changed for each product to achieve the desired flavor.
