Anko bread

"Anko bread" is made by rolling homemade red bean paste, which is made from red beans from Tokachi, Hokkaido, and cooked with a rich flavor of red beans into bread dough and baking it softly and softly. Homemade bean paste for bread is used, which is cooked by craftsmen, considering the composition to match the bread dough.

Compared to ordinary Japanese sweets, the bean paste used for bread is more likely to lose moisture during the baking stage. Therefore, in order to make it difficult for water to fly, the bean paste is cooked softer than ordinary Japanese sweets and the sugar content is increased. The sugar used is also devised so that the sweetness does not make it dull. From the viewpoint of water retention, instead of using starch syrup, we used expensive "rice syrup" made from glutinous rice to create rich, moist and fresh bean paste. It is a bean paste for bread that you can fully enjoy the flavor of azuki beans, which is unique to Japanese sweets shops.

The bread dough has a moist, soft and fluffy texture. When it comes to bread, it's easy to think that the fluffy feeling of freshly baked bread is only on the day of the event, but this "red bean paste" is soft and fluffy until the second day. On the day of fresh baking, you can enjoy it as it is, with ice cream, butter and toaster, and various arrangements.
