Tonden "Spring Lunch Menu"

The "Spring Lunch Menu" is now available at Tonden, announced on the official website. The menu includes a "one-soup, three-course lunch" with a different main dish for each day of the week, and a set meal in which you can enjoy sardines.

Lunch hours are Monday through Saturday (except holidays) from opening to 15:00. The menu differs between the Hokkaido and Kanto locations. The menu and prices are as follows. All prices include tax.

Hokkaido Store

The "Ippushiru Sansai Lunch" is a combination of rice, main dish, dashimaki tamago (rolled egg), appetizer, pickles, and seasonal soup bowl. It is made with one soup and three vegetables as the basis of Japanese food, and is characterized by its good balance. The main dish changes depending on the day of the week, and there are two choices for each day of the week.

On Mondays and Thursdays, you can choose either the "sashimi platter" with six different kinds of sashimi or the soft and juicy "beef jalami steak. On Tuesdays and Fridays, you can choose from "Kinka mackerel grilled with salted and dried fat" or "Hokkaido pork loin" with a special sweet and spicy sauce. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, you can choose from "Fried Eagle Eel" or "Saikyo-yaki Sarawara" which has a deep flavor.

The "Lunch Choice of Mini Bowl of Rice and Hokkaido Soba" comes with your choice of either a mini Kaisendon, mini Tendon, mini Iwashi-don, or mini Buta-don. Lunch drink is included.

The "Lunch Umai Eagle Tomoe Set Meal" is a set meal that includes "Umai Eagle Fried Fish", "Umai Eagle Sashimi", and "Umai Eagle Ginger Stewed Fish" all at once. The "Lunch Irodori Set" includes sushi, udon, tempura, and chawanmushi all at once.

In addition, "Lunch Unadon", "Lunch Tendon and Udon", and "Lunch Nigiri Sushi and Udon" will also be available.

Kanto Branch

On Mondays and Thursdays, you can choose from either "Katsuo no Tataki" (bonito chop) from Yaizu, Shizuoka Prefecture or "Beef Harami Steak" which is soft and juicy. On Tuesdays and Fridays, you can choose from "Kinka Saba (mackerel) grilled with salted and dried fat" or "Hokkaido pork loin" with a special sweet and spicy sauce. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, you can choose from "Fried Eagle Eel" or "Saikyo-yaki Sarawara" which has a deep flavor.

The "Lunch Choice of Mini Bowl of Rice or Hokkaido Soba" comes with a choice of either a mini katsuo (bonito) bowl, mini tempura bowl, mini sardine bowl, or mini buta bowl with soba noodles.

The "Lunch Umaii Eagle Tomoe Set Meal" includes fried umaii eagle, umaii eagle sashimi, and umaii eagle simmered in ginger all in one set. The "Lunch Irodori Set" includes sushi, udon, tempura, and chawanmushi all at once.

In addition, "Lunch Unadon", "Lunch Tendon and Udon", and "Lunch Nigiri Sushi and Udon" will also be available.
