Kyuemon Ito "Uji Matcha Pizza"

A limited number of "Uji Matcha Pizza" will be released on February 13th at the official online shop of Itohkyuemon. The price is 2,990 yen (tax included and shipping included).

Two kinds of creative "Uji Matcha Pizza" topped with Kyoto tsukemono. For the dough, we use ground stone Uji matcha and Italian Naples pizza powder "Sacco Rosso". By slowly fermenting at low temperature for 12 hours or more, each taste is brought out.

・ Suguki and Hinona pizza “Suguki” is a turnip harvested in winter and is characterized by the acidity of lactic acid fermentation. "Hinona" is an elongated turnip with a bright pink color and a unique bitterness. The two types of turnips go well with the bittersweetness of Uji matcha, and together with the richness of mozzarella cheese, the rich taste of sourness, bitterness, and richness spreads throughout your mouth.

・ Burdock and Chinese cabbage pizza
Topped with burdock and Chinese cabbage pickles, which have a crunchy and crunchy texture. To maximize the texture, we do not use tomato sauce, which is a standard pizza, for a simple taste. By combining it with the chewy Uji matcha pizza dough, the texture and flavor stand out, and you can enjoy the last bite without getting tired.
