Introducing a foreign dish that can be easily incorporated into your daily meals. This time, we tried making "Beef and Radish Soup," a familiar dish in Korean households.
Beef and
Radish Soup Recipe
Ingredients (Serves 2
) 100 g beef offcuts1/4 radish
green onion as needed
400 ml water
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp kombu dashi stock
2 tsp sesame oil
garlic tube about 2 cm
Directions
1. Cut the radish into 3 mm thick chunks and the green onion into small pieces.Heat sesame oil and garlic in a frying pan.
When the color of the beef changes slightly, add the daikon radish and saute. 4.
4. Add water and cook while removing the scum.
5. When the daikon becomes soft, add green onion, salt, soy sauce, and kelp dashi stock. Allow to simmer and it is ready to serve.
The key to shortening the cooking time is to cut the daikon into thin slices. The daikon will be tender without simmering for a long time.
How does it taste?
It is very tasty and has depth despite its simple seasoning! The soup is infused with flavor, and you can taste the moderate saltiness, richness of the fat, and elegant sweetness of the daikon radish. The garlic flavor, while mild, does a good job, and it is so good that you can't help but gasp.Since I made it once, it has become a regular menu item on our table. You don't need any hard-to-find ingredients, so feel free to give it a try!
