The Salad Bar & Grill restaurant chain "Sizzler" will open a Southwestern US cuisine fair. An event entitled "Introducing Texas-style BBQ and TEX-MEX dishes featuring" Big & Bold "beef." It will be held for a limited time from October 29, 2020 to January 11, 2021.

In commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the US-based "Sizzler" brand landing in Japan in 2021, the third "Discover America Fair" started in December 2019 as a countdown project. The contents and selling price of the fair menu are as follows. All notations do not include tax.

"Texas-style BBQ beef short ribs with bones" is a dish in which short ribs with bones are seasoned only with salt and pepper according to the authentic manufacturing method, and the deliciousness is slowly brought out by low temperature and long time cooking (Low & Slow).

The smoke from burning oak firewood is burned for more than 8 hours to make it melty and soft. You can enjoy it while changing the taste with 3 kinds of pickles. The selling price is as follows.

The "Premium Salad Bar" also has one type of salad, soup, and dessert as a fair menu.

"Texas Caviar-Texas-style Black Bean Salad-" is a classic Texas appetizer that is eaten on corn chips. Black beans, avocado, tomatoes, etc. are finished with lime and coriander-flavored dressing.


"Chicken tortilla soup" is a classic TEX-MEX soup made by adding richness to chicken stock with Mexican spices, lime, and corn chips. You can enjoy it with corn chips from the salad bar.


"Pecan nut chocolate mousse" is a chocolate mousse topped with pecan nuts, which is also a state tree in Texas and is indispensable for local desserts.

From February 18th to March 31st, 2021, the 4th edition of "Homely Country Cuisine" in Heartland (Central) of the United States will be released, and the 5th edition will be "Leveraging the ingredients" of Pacific Western (Western Pacific). "Natural Cuisine" and "Various Sizzler 30th Anniversary Events (planned)" will be held from April 15th to May 31st, 2021.
