A fluffy sponge cake is wrapped with custard cream with chopped chestnuts and chestnut paste. It was priced at 129 yen (tax included) for a single piece that could be easily picked up and eaten.

When removed from the bag, a round white fluff appeared. The delicate handle makes you a little cautious about handling it, helped by the name "Inochi" (life).

How does it taste?

It is soft and delicate in the mouth. When you bite into it, creamy custard overflows from within.


The chopped chestnuts in the custard have a firm texture, adding accent to the overall softness. The chestnut paste's dense sweetness gradually spreads and the flavor changes. Contrary to the simplicity of its appearance, it is rich in both texture and flavor.


So satisfying! It's not that it's not delicious, but it is delicious. It is a good autumn snack to eat with Japanese tea under the outside light instead of fluorescent lamps.
