The other day, I found an ice cream called "Fruit Mochi Cream" at Aeon. Like the fruit for gifts, the carefully wrapped figure caught my eye and picked it up.


If you look closely, it is a product sold by Mochi Cream Japan. I like the "mochi cream" series, which is made by wrapping ice cream in mochi, so I bought it and tried it! There were also strawberry, mango, and mandarin orange flavors, but this time I chose "astringent skin marron" and "fig". The price was 298 yen each (excluding tax).



"Fruit Mochi Cream" is "Dairy Free" ice cream containing fruits and "botanical cream". Botanical cream is a vegetable cream made mainly from soy milk and palm, palm, cacao, grapes, chia seeds, macadamia nuts, and avocado oil.


Fruit mochi cream like colon and round Daifuku. First, when I cut the "astringent skin marron" in half, chestnuts (sweetened chestnuts with astringent skin) appeared from the inside. Whole big grain! This is nice.


It ’s delicious! The mochi dough, which is about 1 cm thick, is soft and fluffy, and has a slightly sweet finish. The botanical cream that wraps chestnuts is soft and smooth. It has a refreshing flavor without being too sweet. Thanks to this cream, the sweetness of the chewy chestnuts stands out.

Next, figs. When cut in half, fig fruits appeared from the inside.


The gap between the chewy and fluffy mochi and the chewy texture of the bubble wrap figs is good! The sweetness of juicy and refreshing fruit spreads in your mouth as it is, and the deliciousness of mochi cream ice cream gently wraps it.

After eating it, I was convinced that the packaging was like a gift fruit. It contains whole chestnuts and figs. It is recommended to put it at room temperature and eat it when the mochi and fruits are softer than when it is frozen.


It seems that there are not many stores selling it, but Aeon and others may treat it as a gift item for gifts. If you find it at a supermarket, try the taste of your favorite fruit!
