"Ginger & Star Cafe" is about a 10-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station. It is a hideaway cafe with a full menu using ginger.

There are 11 seats. The interior of the store is a little narrow, but the interior is based on white, so you don't feel much oppression. There are also ginger cookies near the entrance.


The specialty menu is "Takibi Curry". It is said that it is a special soup curry with recipes created with health in mind, such as "do not lean on the stomach" and "promote metabolism" to support the disaster area of 3.11. The price is 795 yen (tax included, same below).


A generous amount of roux that is served on a plate of millet rice that is served high like a tower. The crispy fried onion is also topped quickly.


The roux, which has a slightly different taste depending on the location, has a light taste. You can enjoy the richness, umami, and flavor of various spices, and the finish makes you feel particular about it. While eating, I feel that my body gradually warms up!
