Reservations for the traditional confectionery "Lindt Galette des Rois Double Chocolat", which celebrates the New Year in Linz, will begin on November 1st. Delivery is expected to begin on December 27th.


Galette des Rois is a sweet that appears at festivals in the Epiphany of France. When Christmas is over and the New Year comes, it will start to appear on the market. There are many puff pastries containing almond cream called "Frangipane", but it varies slightly depending on the region. Usually, there is only one fève (a bonus such as a ceramic doll) inside, and the person who wins is lucky to wear a crown and become a king that day.


Galette des Rois in Linz is rich in chocolate. A chocolate pie dough kneaded with cocoa powder, wrapped in two layers of rich ganache with a distinctive dark chocolate cocoa flavor and milk chocolate mellow and rich frangipane cream, and baked firmly. The chocolate pie dough is finished by an upside-down folding method in which the dough is wrapped in butter, and you can enjoy the crispy and light texture.

The surface is engraved with beautiful patterns one by one, and the decoration is a classical finish with cacao nibs, almond chips with milk chocolate, and Linz logo chocolate.


Fève is also included. The Galette des Rois in Linz has different designs each year for collectors who collect fève, but the 2020 fève is a small and elaborate reproduction of the Galette des Rois itself. Those who book the "Lindt Galette des Rois Double Chocolat" will receive one original fève and one crown.

The price is 3,780 yen (tax included), about 17 cm, for 4 to 6 people. It is a reservation sale only for the hall size. Reservations are accepted at all Linz Chocolat Cafes. However, the Linz Chocolat Cafe Okinawa Parco City store, the Linz Chocolat boutique store, and the outlet store are not eligible. The delivery period is from December 27, 2019 to January 31, 2020.
