I ate "ground meat rice" at "ground meat boy" in Shirokane Takanawa. A dish made with original minced chicken bean paste that is neither curry rice nor Western food, neither Chinese Marboduf nor Marbonus. The gorgeousness of the toppings is also amazing.
A short distance from Shirokane Takanawa Station
Hikiniku Shonen can be found by going up Exits 3 and 4 of Shirokane Takanawa Subway Station and walking a little. A small shop with only a counter with a quirky sign.
The store is decorated with mysterious figurines and posters. The water is self-service by purchasing a meal ticket, but it has a calm atmosphere. This time, I asked for the most popular "boy's dream". The price is 1,200 yen (tax included).
Minced meat rice "boy's dream"
If you wait, the soup will arrive first. It has a gentle and soft mouthfeel, no habit, and the impression is that it is difficult to decide the seasoning in either Western or Chinese style.
The next minced meat rice is an oval plate with pilaf-style rice and chicken sauce. In "Boy's Dream", red tomatoes, white cheese, and yellow boiled eggs are added to the rich toppings. The green herb is coriander, and ants and pears can be selected at the time of ordering.
In addition, you can eat as much as you want with the seasonings "special garlic sauce" and "fried spring rolls" that are provided on the table.
I have no idea what kind of dish it is, but the taste is well-balanced, mild and uneaten. It has a relaxing scent without the vividness of spices like curry and marbo.
If you choose ants, coriander will come with you a lot, but even if you chew with rice or bean paste, it does not have the exotic impression of Southeast Asian food like Gapao rice, and it fits well with other toppings. If the amount of garlic sauce is small, it will enhance the taste. The crispy spring rolls are not very assertive, they just make the texture pleasant.
If I dare to give something similar, I would like to say taco rice, but it does not have the junk pushing strength of taco meat. The last thing that came to my mind was "koshary," which is eaten in the Middle East such as Egypt. Especially when you sprinkle a lot of spring rolls on it, it seems to be a junk food of West Asia, but the thick minced chicken flavor is much more gentle and calming.
Perhaps this is Japanese food.
