At each Komeda coffee shop (excluding some shops), the seasonal menu "Kakigori" is on sale. There are 5 flavors including "Cafe au lait ice", "Strawberry ice", "Matcha ice" and 2 new flavors "Kiwi ice" and "Apple ice" that appeared for the first time this year.

Speaking of Komeda, after all coffee! So, I ordered "Cafe au lait ice". Shaved ice with a mild cafe au lait taste using a special cafe au lait syrup made from Komeda's iced coffee. The regular size price is 630 yen (tax included, same below). The topping "soft serve" is +120 yen, and the "coffee jelly" is +110 yen.


The moment you put it in your mouth, it's fluffy and melts like snow! As the ice melts, the bittersweet flavor of coffee spreads. A slight sweetness remains in the aftertaste. It has a lot of volume, but it melts in your mouth and you can enjoy it lightly.


By topping with soft serve ice cream, it adds a mellow sweetness and a smooth texture, giving it a different impression. Puru Puru coffee jelly is also recommended! The texture of the part that comes in contact with the ice changes. Enjoy it luxuriously with both toppings!
