Nostalgic!

From Yamazaki Baking, "Chocolate Mountain," "Vienoise Milk," "Sacristan," and "Dowats (Chocolate & Crunch)" are being reprinted and sold as "The Heisei Hit Product Series." Limited time until February 28, 2019.

The Heisei hit product series is a series in which the hit products released by the company in the 2008s are carefully selected and revival-sold for a limited time. Not only the taste but also the package is reproduced as it was at the time of release.

"Chocolate Mountain" released in 2009 is made by baking bite-sized bread Mimi in an oven to give it a crunchy texture and then sprinkling it with Belgian chocolate. It seems that it was born from the idea of utilizing the bread Mimi that comes out when manufacturing "lunch packs".

"Vienoise Milk" released in 2012 is a sandwich of rich Hokkaido condensed milk cream on French bread. It was developed by utilizing original technology, aiming for a texture that "the surface is crispy and the inside is chewy".

"Sacristan" released in 2013 is a traditional European confectionery made by twisting and baking pie crust. A pie made from margarine with fermented butter from Belgian Ardenne, sandwiched between almond-flavored cake dough with charred butter oil and chocolate chips, and sprinkled with sugar margarine and baked slowly.

"Dowats (chocolate & crunch)" released in 2014 is made by fried Danish pastry, coated with milk chocolate, and topped with chocolate crunch and powdered sugar. Against the backdrop of the trend of hybrid sweets at the time of release, the new texture of a combination of croissants and donuts led to a hit.
