Lawson "Uchi Cafe Premium Ruby Chocolate Roll Cake"
Uses a new genre of chocolate "Ruby Chocolate"

"Uchi Cafe Premium Ruby Chocolate Roll Cake" will be on sale on September 25th at each Lawson store. The price is 350 yen (tax included).

A roll cake using "ruby chocolate", which is characterized by the natural ruby color derived from cacao beans. Ruby chocolate was developed by Barry Callebaut of Switzerland over 10 years and was born in September 2017 as a new genre of chocolate.

The roll cake to be released this time uses ruby chocolate for the sponge dough and the cream in the center (the cake contains some coloring agents). A berry sauce of raspberries and strawberry that matches the fruity acidity of ruby chocolate is sandwiched in the cream. If you like, top it with the attached ruby chocolate plate.

A shortcake made with ruby chocolate will be on sale in November, and a Christmas cake will be on sale in December.
